Salvador ‘Babe’ Garcia Jr. 88

SAGUACHE—Salvador (Babe) Garcia Jr. 88, of Saguache, Colo., passed away Oct. 12, 2017.
Salvador was born July 14, 1929 in Saguache to Salvador Garcia Sr. and Casimira Mondragon. He was in the army and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, storytelling, volunteering, music, and spending time with family.
Salvador is survived by wife Patsy Garcia, his son Donald Lee (Joyce) Garcia, Aztec, N.M.; two daughters, Brenda Lee (Pamela) Garcia; Peggy Lee (Tom) Williams, both of Saguache; five brothers, David Torres, Frank Garcia, Juan C. Garcia, Pete N. Garcia, Raymond (Jean) Garcia; three sisters, Carolyn White, Lorraine Lopez, Louise Garcia; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and his little dog, Tiny.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Mountain Valley gym.
