SAN LUIS VALLEY— The newest version of the Mystic San Luis Valley Tourism map is ready to help locals and tourists get out there and experience all the region has to offer.
The map is produced by the SLV Tourism Association. This version of the map reflects major changes including 100+ additions of History/Heritage, Arts/Culture and Outdoor Adventures. Among those new items now listed are the Narrow-Gauge Book Cooperative, La Veta School of Arts, the Crestone School/Museum, the historic Monte Vista Post Office, Trujillo Homestead, Creede’s Bachelor Loop, Penitente Canyon, Sargent’s Soldiers’ Monument, 15 Walking/Driving Tours just to name a few of the experiences and adventures to enjoy.
The association would like to take this time to thank those that made this publication as well as the annual Mystic San Luis Valley Tourism Conference possible: the Colorado Tourism Office, Rio Grande County Tourism, Saguache County Tourism, Alamosa Marketing District, Colorado Gator Farm, Huerfano County Tourism, San Luis Valley Rural Electric, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, and Friends of the Dunes.
If you’d like to have these free maps available for distribution at your location just send us an email at [email protected].
Are you interested in becoming a board member with the SLV Tourism Association? We specifically need representatives from Conejos and Mineral but wouldn’t turn down interest from any of the seven counties of the Mystic San Luis Valley region including Huerfano, Saguache, Alamosa, Costilla, and Rio Grande County.
