GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Loretta M. Euwer, of Montrose passed away on April 1, 2017 at Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, at the age of 91.
Loretta was born Jan. 30, 1926 to Edward and Marie Branda in Wilson, Kan. She spent her childhood and received her education in Edson and Goodland, Kan. 
Loretta married Eugene E. Euwer on Dec. 9, 1945 at the First Christian Church in Goodland, Kan. They were happily married for 71 years. 
Before moving to Montrose, Colo., Loretta and Eugene had resided in Mesa, Ariz.; South Fork and Lamar, Colo. 
They are members of the United Methodist Church in Montrose. Loretta enjoyed sewing, crafts of all kinds, reading, and she loved to play bridge.
Surviving family members include her beloved husband Eugene; one son Edward E. Euwer, and one daughter Stacia L. Euwer; two grandchildren Chad Euwer and Rachael Carlson; three great-grandchildren Nolan Euwer, Eliza Euwer and Alexia Carlson.
A memorial service in celebration of Loretta’s life was held on Monday, April 10 at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel.
