Headwaters Alliance annual meeting Oct. 19

CREEDE—Our land and water are important to the people of the Upper Rio Grande. How can we care for our invaluable natural resources while supporting economic growth and fulfilling livelihoods in the Valley?
These questions and more will be discussed at the Headwaters Alliance Annual meeting on Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Pizzeria 8852, 107 N. Main Street in Creede. Childcare help will be provided
The Headwaters Alliance’s origins are rooted in the Willow Creek Reclamation Committee, which was formed to restore places affected by mining. Ideas will be exchanged about where the Headwaters Alliance is going and how they can better address resource conservation, the needs of the community and to enjoy some good food, drink and company. To help shape a sustainable, prosperous future for the Valley and to have fun while doing so, attend this event.
The Headwaters Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a sustainable environmental and economic future for the Upper Rio Grande Basin through education, stewardship and resource conservation.
