MONTE VISTA—Born March 12, 1990 to Eduardo Sr. and Joy Rascón in Del Norte, Co. Eduardo left this world on Aug. 5, 2017.
Eduardo was a great athlete who excelled in basketball, baseball, football, wrestling, and fishing. He graduated from Monte Vista High School in 2008. The joys of his life were his nephews, Carlos, Luis, Francisco, and Cristian.
Eduardo survived by his loving parents, Eduardo Sr. and Joy Rascón, his beloved sister Maria Hernandez and her husband Rubén, his beloved brother Sidro Rascón, paternal grandparents Abuelito Isidro Rascón Ochoa, maternal grandparents Jose and Betty Joe Coronado, and by many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and the love of his life Katy Townsend.
Eduardo was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Abuelita Maria Rascón Dominguez, Little Grandma Tana Coronado, and his beloved cousins, Samuel Valdez Jr. and Daniel Sanchez.
The recitation of the Rosary was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Monte Vista on Thursday, Aug. 10. Services were held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church as well on Friday, Aug. 11. Interment will be held at a later date. Services directed by Strohmayer’s Funeral Home.
