DEL NORTE — Hello community members! Tis the season to support our local businesses! In order to support shopping locally, we are introducing the Del Norte Business Passport Program. Starting Dec. 1, 2021, passport cards with a list of participating businesses will be available to the public at participating locations.
Community members are encouraged to visit each business listed on the passport card. Please note that you do not need to purchase anything at the businesses to participate! The hope is that you will take this opportunity to acknowledge each business and introduce yourself.
The passport program will continue until Jan. 15. Completed cards can be dropped off Jan. 15-29, at the High Valley Community Center located at 595 Grand Ave. in Del Norte. We encourage each community member to visit all the local businesses to not only connect with our local business owners but also for a chance to enter into a raffle with great prizes purchased from local businesses. The completed cards will serve as entry into the prize drawing. Chamber members will randomly select three winners on Feb. 1, 2022.
