Del Norte ballots will be mailed Thursday
DEL NORTE— Rio Grande County Clerk Cindy Hill announced that due to an error on the part of their vendor, the ballots for residents of the Town of Del Norte were not mailed in the original batch.
Hill said the vendor has promised to mail these ballots on Thursday, Oct. 25. Del Norte Town voters should expect to see them within a few days. Ballots for the other parts of the county were mailed on Oct. 18.

She reminds voters that ballots must be received in the clerk's office by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, a postmark of that date is not sufficient. Voters can mail their ballots to the clerk's office, deliver them in person or use the convenient, 24-hour drop box located at the southwest corner of the Rio Grande County Annex building.
