CAÑON CITY— Del Norte resident Bruce Lindsay, 64, passed away at Valley View Health Care Center in Cañon City on June 12, 2018 following a very long illness.
Bruce was born Sept. 14, 1953 in Boulder, Colo. to Frederick Lindsay and Shirley Hills Lindsay.
On July 4, 1976 Bruce married Debra Munson Lindsay in Tucson, Ariz. To this union three children were born: Casie, Jason and Neil.
He worked in water treatment all of his life and loved to go fishing.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; his children, Casie (Ian) Dugan, Seattle, Wash.; Jason (Chelsea) Lindsay, Del Norte and Neil (Christie) Lindsay, Alamosa; one sister, Susan Lindsay (Harold) Hart and three grandchildren, Taylor and Wells Dugan and Avery Lindsay.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
